Kingfisher Barn Bed & Breakfast is situated around the courtyard garden of a 17th century converted barn. Located just outside of Abingdon in Oxfordshire, the B&B boasts lovely views across neighbouring fields, over the hills and of Abingdon’s Church steeple tops! The Thames path is moments away with plenty of walks around the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside.

All our B&B rooms are situated on the ground floor, some with added wheelchair accessible features. Prepared to consistently high standards, our guest rooms are very comfortable, homely, fresh and clean. The en suite facilities have either a bath or a shower along with toiletries and fresh towels. The rooms, of course, come with the all-important tea/coffee making facilities, TV and superfast wifi. You also have your own front door key so you can come and go as you please in our relaxed atmosphere.

Included in our price is a continental style breakfast which includes cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juice, milk, toast, croissants, bagels, tea and fresh coffee. Enjoy breakfast either in our cosy cabin or in the sunny courtyard if weather permits!

Pets are more than welcome, but we do ask for them to be kept on leads in communal areas. We can provide a bed and bowl for your four-legged friend to make sure they have an enjoyable stay too!

We have a large, safe private car park which is free for all our guests to use.

The historic market town of Abingdon is a 10 minute stroll from Kingfisher Barn and offers plenty of interest – historic features, the abbey buildings, the town museum, as well as independent shops, cafes and pubs. We have a farmers market every Monday offering local and fresh produce and the local excellence market on a Saturday.

There are many attractions close by including leisure centres, snakes and ladders (indoor playground) Millets Farm, Cotswold Wildlife Park, gyms, cinemas and boat hire into Oxford.

Oxford is 10 miles away and is easily accessible by bus (every 10 minutes) car, boat or your own two feet if you have the stamina! Oxford has a wide range of shops, pubs, clubs and sightseeing opportunities around the University buildings and grounds. Blenheim Palace, The Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon are all within easy driving distance.
