The Wheatsheaf offers cosy, country bed & breakfast accommodation with friendly and attentive service at Swinton. The ideal base to discover the beautiful Scottish Borders, and North Northumberland from the coast to our castles.

All 10 bedrooms offer superior Scottish Borders accommodation with en suite facilities and comfort for guests to relax in. Superior hotel rooms include king sized beds and large TVs plus coffee maker. Free Internet access is available in all areas of the hotel. Standard en suite double rooms include phone, television, ironing board and iron, hospitality tray with a selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, and bottled Scottish spring water. Arran Aromatics toiletries are provided for your convenience and luxurious deep pile large bath towels.

For those who would rather, we do have a self catering holiday cottage on site. It is 2 bed and can sleep 5 people, please enquire for more details. we

We source fresh seafood from Eyemouth harbour just 12 miles away, Scottish Borders beef, lamb and organic pork from local traditional butchers. All our Beef purchases are Prime Scottish Beef. Fresh fruit and vegetables come from local growers. We source the finest wild mushrooms, organic vegetables, cheese and a variety of exotic ingredients from around the world.

We are situated near Berwick-upon-Tweed, Coldstream, Duns and Kelso.
