Truro is the southernmost city on the mainland and UK and was traditionally recognised as a port town. The city then became more renowned for its tin mining and during this time the Hall for Cornwall and the superb Royal Cornwall Museum were built here. One of the key attractions is the city’s Cathedral which was completed in 1910. At the local water sports centre you can also hire dinghies, motorboats and rowboats.
