Aynsome Manor was once the distinguished residence of the descendants of William Marshall, the Earl of Pembroke, founder of the historic 12th Century Cartmel Priory. Today it offers bed and breakfast accommodation within a secluded area of Cartmel village.

The main house has 10 comfortable bedrooms mainly built around a courtyard and covering two floors. A cosy well-stocked bar and charming lounges with log fires and peaceful views of the valley are available for your relaxation. Aynsome cottage lies a few short paces across the flagged courtyard and was converted from a 16th Century stone-built stable with one double and one twin room both with their own private facilities. There is also a comfortably furnished lounge.
