Beinn Bhracaigh is an elegant Victorian Country House, built in 1880, it has been thoughtfully extended and decorated with a blend of antique and contemporary styles, creating a peaceful, relaxing, and truly memorable experience. From our elevated position, most rooms offer sweeping views over the garden, the town of Pitlochry below and the Tummel Valley beyond. Rooms are located within the West wing or original part of the property and are situated between the ground and first floors. We do not have lifts, so you’ll need to be comfortable using the stairs, unless you book one of our two ‘Ground Floor Classic’ rooms, which have step-free access. Each bedroom is individually appointed with hypo-allergenic bedding and the finest cotton duvets, with fresh, plump towelling and complimentary toiletries supplied by the Scottish Fine Soap Company. Most rooms feature sumptuous beds from Highland Blindcraft and all have en-suite facilities, most with walk-in showers. You can also enjoy the Fergusson Honesty Bar with a wide range of whiskeys, spirits, wines, beers and soft drinks and take in the views from our comfortable guest lounge.

First Floor Double Standard – ‘Findhorn’, is located in the Original House. It is decorated in a more period style. With views across the trees, leave the window open and enjoy the birdsong in the morning, in this cosy room with some period details. Please note that there are three steps down into this room from the main landing.

Ground Floor Classic – Rooms ‘Tummel’ and ‘Tweed’, across the corridor from each other, are located in the West Wing near reception. Both rooms, available as twins on request, are south-facing with exquisite views over the garden and the Tummel Valley. Each room has a light, bright feel with super-king zip & link beds and walk-in shower en-suite facilities.

First Floor Classic – Room ‘Nethy’, located in the West Wing near reception, is the only room featuring a bath with a shower-over. Rooms ‘Dochart’ and ‘Livet’, located in the Original House, are decorated in a more period style and have walk-in shower en-suites. These rooms feature original period details and offer a quirky charm. All of our First Floor Classic Rooms enjoy superb views across the garden to the Tummel Valley.

Superior Room, Tay – Located in the Original House and decorated with a subtle Farrow & Ball palette and period-style furniture, this south-facing room offers wonderful views of the distant hills. It features a traditional large airy walk-in shower en-suite, a small settee, and period furniture, making it ideal for longer stays and special occasions.

Junior Suite, Spey – Located in the West Wing near reception, this south-facing room is decorated with a clean modern palette and offers wonderful views of the distant hills. The bathroom has a lovely walk-in shower, and this room also features a large seating area and a mini-fridge, making it ideal for longer stays and special occasions.
