Craiglands Bed and Breakfast in Threshfield offers excellent accommodation. Located near Grassington in North Yorkshire, we are perfect for an idyllic holiday. The beautiful Edwardian features have been retained and restored whilst each of the four rooms has been given a cosy, contemporary feel.

Craiglands is the perfect guest house for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Located on the Dales Way, the Lady Anne Way, the Way of the Roses and Tour De Yorkshire routes. We have facilities for bikers and walkers to relax after a long day in the countryside . . . whatever the weather! Motorbikes and bicycles have secure storage.

Our rooms offer versatility for families, friends, couples and single adventurers. All will receive a warm welcome, a hearty breakfast and a few unique touches.

Our Edwardian house was built in the early 1900’s and still retains many of its original features, such as some beautiful stained glass. The property comes with elegant and tasteful decor.

All our centrally heated bedrooms are well furnished and each has a TV with tea, coffee and chocolate making facilities. We have two double rooms, one with a king-size bed, and a twin room – all en suite. Our one single room has private facilities. The family en suite room sleeps up to 4 people.

We are noted for our quality breakfasts using local produce and for offering a wide choice including vegetarian options. Packed lunches are available on request.

Grassington in Wharfedale, is a picturesque little town and there is much to interest the visitor in the area. It is also an ideal base for exploring the other Dales and further afield.

There are many interesting walks directly from the house for all abilities, ranging from riverside ambles to strenuous hill walking. We have maps and books available for guests’ use and we are only too happy to offer advice on walks if required. Guest tickets are available for trout fishing on the local River Wharfe.

Beautiful scenic tours by car can be made to Malham, Kilnsey, Kettlewell, Buckden and Hawes… to name but a few. Towns nearby worthy of a visit are Skipton, Settle, Ilkley and Harrogate. In addition York and Leeds are easily accessible. Also within easy reach are Wensleydale, Nidderdale, Dentdale, Swaledale, even the Lake District. The choices are endless and the variety of scenery is impressive.
