The Ferris Wheel is a bed and breakfast in Co Kerry, located less than half a mile from the famous Gap of Dunloe mountain pass at Beaufort. Our B&B is perfect for those who want to explore this beautiful part of Ireland and the many attractions and places of interest it has to offer. Scenic tours of the Gap by traditional horse-drawn carriage are available. With views of the flowery garden, horses in the field or the distant mountains, the bright and warmly furnished rooms each provide beds with Egyptian white linen. Rooms all include an en suite bathroom with a power shower. Our emphasis is on a friendly personal service to enhance a comfortable relaxing stay for you and yours to enjoy.
There is a continental take away breakfast available which is served in the dining room and includes: 1.Selection of either apple or orange juice. 2.Breads/freshly baked croissants with butter & an assortment of jams. 3.Fruit salad & yogurt. 4.Cheese portion of the day. Tea, coffee & milk are supplied in your room. You are welcome to use the dining room if you so wish. In the dining there are cereals supplied for you in addition to your “Continental take out breakfast”. We endeavour to cater for all your dietary needs so please don’t hesitate to ask or should you require any assistance. Killarney’s centre, along with its train and bus station, are located 15 minutes away by car. The Gap of Dunloe winds through the scenic MacGillycuddy Reeks mountain range and passes 5 lakes and the River Loe. Kate Kearney’s Cottage, offering a bar/restaurant with live traditional music and Irish dancing, is 5 minutes’ walk away. The beautiful Lakes of Killarney and 2 golf courses are just a 10-minute drive from The Ferris Wheel.
