The Isle Estate in Shrewsbury offers luxurious guest house accommodation, nestled in a bow of the River Severn. Our magnificent period country house in Shropshire is perfect for an idyllic getaway.

Our gorgeous property is ideal for a special holiday in a spectacular setting, with an abundance of picturesque walks available along the River Severn or around a 10-acre lake behind the house. All the bedrooms are elegantly furnished, offering a blend of antiques with modern facilities. All the rooms include: top quality mattresses, crisp white bed linen, luxurious soft furnishings and antiques, TV, radio and internet.

The Blue and White Room: This fabulous room comes with a large double bed and an en suite bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower.

The Pink Room: Our charming room comes with a large bed, an en suite bath and boasts stunning lake views.

The Lavender Room: This outstanding twin room includes an en suite bath and lovely views over the walled garden.

The Swallow: Our delightful room comes with a super king bed and two singles, plus en suite facilities.

You can savour a wonderful breakfast in our elegant dining room. We offer a range of cereals, muesli, fruit juice and yoghurt, Isle porridge with honey, plus a variety of hot options, including a full English or free-range scrambled egg on toast with grilled field mushrooms.

After a busy day sightseeing, unwind in the sitting room with a coffee over a good book. We also have a heated swimming pool with a marquee and a BBQ in our walled garden for guests to use in the summer.

While staying with us, you can visit lots of brilliant attractions. The Shrewsbury livery and riding facilities are brilliant, great for horse lovers. You can head into town, home to cafes, shops, restaurants and lovely medieval streets. Great attractions to visit include:
