The Palmerston Rooms offers fantastic guest house accommodation in the charming old market town of Romsey. We are in a great position for exploring the historic cities of Romsey, close to the historic cities of Winchester, Salisbury, Southampton and Portsmouth.

Our magnificent Edwardian property offers stylish accommodation in 8 individually designed bedrooms. We pride ourselves in offering outstanding accommodation at an affordable price. You can choose from single, double, king size, twin and family rooms. All of our elegant bedrooms are spacious, beautifully furnished and ideal for a restful night’s sleep after a day sightseeing. Excellent facilities in all the rooms include:

En suite facilities.
Flat-screen televisions (many with integrated DVD players)
Hair dryer
Luggage rack
Tissues
Toiletries
Refreshment tray
Bottled water
Ventral heating and free internet access.
Ironing facilities are also available on request.
Cot available.

A delicious breakfast is served between 7 am – 9.30 am on weekdays and 7.30 am – 10 am on weekends and bank holidays.

Outside there is a pretty walled garden, offering a lovely place to relax with a coffee in the afternoon sun.

While staying with us you can visit lots of brilliant attractions in the area, with the New Forest and the award-winning Paultons Park only a short drive away. In Romsey, you visit the majestic abbey or Broadlands House, whilst river walks are great for a summer’s evening. Just a 5-minute walk from us is the train station and the bus station is only 2 minutes away. Excellent attractions to visit include:

Mayflower Theatre.
WestQuay Shopping Centre.
Marwell Zoo.
Winchester Cathedral.
