The Roman Camp Inn is located at Aylmerton, near Cromer in Norfolk, and is an inn that offers luxury accommodation, a warm and welcoming bar and a traditional menu that is made using good quality local produce. We have designed the inn to be a source of pleasure and have even had young artists commissioned to make sculpture and designs for leaded glass which you can see in our conservatory dining room.

Our guest rooms are traditional, comfortable and attractive. We have the following rooms available – 5 deluxe double rooms, 3 twin rooms, 5 standard double rooms, 1 superior accessible twin room and 1 superior accessible double room.

All our standard and superior rooms are en-suite and include a digital TV and radio, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities. Our deluxe rooms also have added extras including bath robes, mineral water and digital TV with DVD player.

We have an all-day restaurant that offers fine food and a bar that serves real local ale. You may wish to dine, or take afternoon tea or coffee, in our conservatory, or view the garden from our private first-floor dining room, Room with a View, which has panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Alternatively, we have spacious patios overlooking our gardens to enjoy a drink or meal. On the ground floor, adjoining the bar, there are armchairs by the fire where you can keep cosy and warm, reserved specifically for our residents.

Our aim is to create a welcoming environment for all, so whether you are looking to enjoy afternoon tea in good company, have a romantic break away in our luxury Honeymoon Room, a base for a relaxing holiday or as a stop-off point for business guests, we have ensured that all the essentials have been taken care of for you so that you can simply enjoy your time with us.

Aylmerton is in a beautiful part of Norfolk and is only 10 minutes from the beaches at Cromer, Sheringham and West Runton. Whether your interests are walking, sightseeing, golf, horse riding, bird watching, fishing or cycling, or just eating fine food, you will be entertained and accommodated here.
