The White House offers stunning accommodation in Bowness-on-Windermere, nestled by Lake Windermere. Our gorgeous guest house is perfect for an unforgettable holiday in Cumbria.

Our luxurious house boasts an array of unique, stylish rooms to stay in, perfect for a relaxing and tranquil getaway. In total, we have 12 outstanding bedrooms to choose from, plus 1 lavish cottage. The bedrooms offer a modern retreat in a magnificent Grade II Listed building that still mains many fantastic features.

All the rooms include a range of superb facilities, including sumptuous bathrooms, a flat-screen TV, hair dryer and quality bed linen. Some rooms boast a private patio area to unwind on.

While staying with us you can discover all that the area has to offer. Take a scenic trip on Windermere Lake Cruises and admire the amazing scenery. You can visit Levens Hall, a majestic Elizabethan mansion that was built around a 13th Century pele tower. Greenlands Farm has an open farm, soft play area and farm shop, whilst Gummer’s How offers amazing views from the summit. Further attractions to visit include:
